Haunt of the Acne: Day 1

Yesterday, Aug. 31st was the actual DAY 1 for The Haunt of Acne!
I created a video journal.
Check it out!
So yesterday, DAY 1, I was really determined to rid myself of this acne that has flared up on my face! :)
I am hoping to continue with this for as long as it takes!

A.Smiles FOOD JOURNAL for DAY 1:
AM:
72 oz. Water
Half Glass of Beet/Carrot/Cucumber Juice
LUNCH:
Romaine lettuce with black beans/brocco sprouts/Braggs dressing/
Cumin/Cayenne Red Pepper/Grape Cherry Tomatoes/Quinoa (oh this was good!)
PM:
72 oz. Water
Naked Double Berry Protein Drink

EVENING FOOD EXERCISE:
Taught Zumba Fitness! What a work out!

EVENING SNACK:
16 oz. Water
Unsalted pretzels

THOUGHTS/FEELINGS:
I started feeling a lot of exhaustion in the afternoon.
I have a lot of sugar and sweets for the past two weeks (at least 2 weeks).
I have gotten off track. I thought it was emotional eating, maybe part of it has to do with emotional eating. However, I am not stressed. I have a lot on my plate: it is a GOOD BUSY though! And I've not been feeling down or anything like that.

I am a little disappointed/saddened by the acne on my face. However, Yoga, meditation and prayer has kept me filled with joy. So I am sure that diet plays a huge role in this acne situation. After class in the evening, I REALLY felt the exhaustion! Oh my goodness, it felt like I have been running for hours! And when I got home, I had to go and lay down for a bit before taking a shower because I developed a mild headache as well. I could not sleep, and I followed my cousin, Raw Chef Chelly's advice:

Breathe in deeply and hold for a 4-count. Then exhale out for a count of 8, repeat!
Then the next thing I knew: I FELL ASLEEP! Finally, I am resting! Exception is I kept getting up at odd times in the middle of the night because of my urgent need to let out all the water I've been consuming! We shall see how tomorrow goes! Sweet dreams! :)
