Shake head YES...now shake head NO....

This is what came to mind as I was thinking of what to blog about tonight! :)
I did Body Flow again today and it felt amazing! Just what I needed to relax, release, and renew! WHEW what a flowing class it was!

During part of the stretch portion of the class, the Instructor has us shake our heads YES, then shake our heads No while doing a forward fold (I think) position.
So picture yourself: legs together, upper body bent down and forward, releasing the shoulders, releasing the upper body! And then we do the shaking of the head Yes, and then No. Each time I do it I feel this flow of energy that is calming, positive, and FREE. That may sound a little strange to you. I challenge you to be open to this feeling and give the class a try: BODY FLOW is held in several gyms!

As I was shaking my head yes, I couldn't help but smile because I was affirming my positive feelings at that moment. When I shook my head No I was still smiling and thinking the same thing! It was exhilarating and it has become one of my favorite classes!

Body Flow does a body good!

A. Smiles FOOD JOURNAL:

AM:
16 oz. water
Vanilla Rooibos Tea
Toast

Nuts, 16 oz. water, flaxseed crackers
Apple

NOON FOOD EXERCISE:

Body Flow (yes, no, I'm all for Body Flow: like that rhyme? SMILE)

LUNCH:
Berry Smoothie (mixed berries, with some nuts and protein)
16 oz. water

FOOD EXERCISE:
Walking around college campus, hills, around the small lake;
a beautiful scene it was!

DINNER:
Rice bowl: black beans, mexican rice, cilantro, salsa
16 oz. water

PM:
16 oz. water
Mixed nuts

THOUGHTS/FEELINGS:
Today was very productive and full of positive energy.
I like to try and make it a personal goal of mine to go through the day full of positive energy and keep the negative energy at a distance. Today was one of those days and therefore, it became even more productive. I smiled more and thought about my family. I thought about how I would like my kids to enjoy every moment. Today was a great day!

I am sad again that I did not get any veggies in. I know that it will make a huge difference as far as energy and nutrition once I get in the veggies. I need to get back my green drinks. It is easy to get side tracked from making the green drinks when there is much to do at home, at school with the kids, and of course WORK!

As I walked around the college campus with a friend, I noticed the beautiful scenery! Although it was VERY HOT outside, we walked anyway and it was such an uplifting walk. We were able to catch up on what was going on in our lives and just have a wonderful conversation! It felt good to be outside in the heat. I just let nature run its course as we walked and walked...
I FEEL VIBRANT! :)
