Take a Break

It's so nice to do something DIFFERENT from the "routine."
This morning I ended up going to a new class: Body Flow

Here is what the description of Body Flow says:
The Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility & strength and leaves you feeling centered & calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves & poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony & balance. All fitness levels.

Oh it was great! It felt so good especially after a long weekend of work! :)
And it was nice to break from everything that I had to do today.
I really needed it. We all need it, frequently. We work so hard and we ignore ourSELVES in the process of all the work! Time to do better and be better as we improve our health: mind/body/soul.

Hubby was going to pick up some food for the family tonight, and I decided to go with him while the kids' Papa is in town. I decided to go because again, I realized how much work I was doing today, And I thought, I'll go with him so we can spend some alone time together! And it just felt nice to take a little break. So what are you waiting for? When everything seems to be overwhelming, when you are sitting in front of the computer, just STOP. Remove yourself from the busy-ness, even if it is just for a few minutes- and BREAK!

MY FOOD JOURNAL:
BREAKFAST:
16 oz. water
Vanilla (caffeine free) Rooibos Tea
One slice Ezekiel Bread with Grape Jelly
AM EXERCISE FOOD:
Body Flow
AM Snack
Mixed nuts (cashews/walnuts/pistachios/almonds)
16 oz. water
LUNCH
Guacamole with Multi Grain chips
Oat/Honey Granola Bar
PM SNACK
Mixed Nuts (same as above)
DINNER
Spinach Pizza (2 slices)
NIGHT SNACK/DESSERT
Strawberry/Banana/Raspberry NICE-cream with chopped walnuts
(ooooh love my raw NICE-cream!)

THOUGHTS/FEELINGS:
Once again, another day of feeling more positive and LIGHT! What a
difference it makes when you change what you put inside of you and change how you work your muscles/joints! I am loving this life! And even though I was tired this morning from all the hard work this weekend: I feel AMAZING! I didn't need to go and lay down, like I usually feel....I just kept working and kept smiling!
What a FEELING! :)
