SOCCA! SOCCA!

Today I tried something new! And it was oh so delicious!
I borrowed this recipe from the Pure2Raw Twins:

And I am so glad I came across this! What a great snack! :)

SOCCA Definition: taken from Wikipedia:
Farinata, socca, or cecina is a sort of thin, unleavened pancake or crêpe of chickpea flour founded in Genoa and became a typical food of the Ligurian Sea coast, from Nice to Pisa.

The family enjoyed it and I'll be making more again in the near future!

TODAY'S FOOD JOURNAL:

BREAKFAST:
32 oz. water

20 oz. of Green Smoothie Drink
LUNCH
Black bean burger with cayenne pepper

Socca! Ummmm!

Two slices of cheese pizza (aaahhh Papa John's- I usually have more slices)
NIGHT SNACK
Almond Chocolate Milk

Thoughts/Feelings


I did Basic Yoga this morning and Pilates at night and wow: did it feel good!
I feel great. Not tired, and I don't feel sluggish like I usually do when I eat the WRONG stuff! Feeling positive. Ready for another day of LIFE! :)
