in a CUP! If you have not tried it, please do. Just take 2-4 of your favorite fresh greens that you enjoy, 1/2 of a lemon, 2 apples, 2 bananas, cold water, and ice, and put all in a blender (Vita-Mix is great for making Green Smoothies)!
DRINK YOUR GREEN TO STAY LEAN!
Okay that might sound a little silly, and hey: I am in a sort of silly mood!
Food Journal For Today:
BREAKFAST:
a. Green Smoothie (Dandelions, Parsley, and Kale)- 16 oz.
b. Egg McMuffin (no meat)- McDonald's (I know...I had a taste for it)
MID-MORNING SNACK:
c. Chai Tea Latte- Vanilla Rooibos (caffeine free) with Soy Milk
LUNCH:
d. Qunioa, Black Beans, Pepper, Little bit of hot sauce
e. Ezekiel Bread with grape jelly
SNACK:
f. Cheerios (just a small bag full)
g. Cauliflower Rice
DINNER:
h. Fetucinne, Broccoli, Cauliflower (steamed with pepper, garlic, olive oil)
i. 16 oz. water
I would like to do two green smoothies a day...see how I feel.
I feel good right now. I am still awake, and I do have pain in my upper back,
left shoulder....very painful. I believe it is from doing too much reading with my head down: not taking care of myself. Read too much this morning without taking a break. Have to be better at taking care of me!
